The Faber-Castell Create Your Mark For A Brighter Future Creative Competition is an annual campaign to inspire creative and sustainable thinking in primary school aged children Across Australia. Designed to come to life in the classroom, this competition is supported by our range of curriculum-aligned lesson plans to encourage young minds to consider how they can make a positive ‘mark’ on the future.

Yes. Entrants can enter as many (unique) artworks into the competition as they wish, ensuring each of their entries comply with the requirements outlined in the terms and conditions.
Yes! If you are a teacher or work at a school you can make bulk uploads for up to 60 students at a time from either phone or desktop. Use the teacher section on the entry form to complete this.
Upon completing your entry you will receive a notification on the microsite providing confirmation your entry has been received and you will also be sent a confirmation email to the email address included in your entry.
All final artworks must be completed by hand. Artwork with digital images will not be accepted. Any imagery that is copyrighted, or is the intellectual property of other parties, also cannot be incorporated into the final artwork. Submissions that breach these restrictions will not be accepted and will be disqualified from the contest.
We encourage participants to use a range of Faber-Castell creative materials to fully express and explore their creativity, including but not limited to: Faber-Castell Connector Pens, Coloured Pencils, Oil Pastels, Crayons, Watercolour Pencils, Graphite Pencils and more.
This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged, based upon individual creative merit as outlined below. All entries must be an independent creation by the entrant and must be hand made using Faber-Castell products.
